Festive Holiday Gift Wrapping
Here are some of my holiday inspiration from my Pinterest board.
Every year, I try and pick a theme for my gift wrapping. Obviously, gift-giving is about being thoughtful & sincere. I like to put a little thought into my wrapping as well. My go-to is to pick out a natural wrapping paper & always use a cloth ribbon for the bow. That way any ribbon laying around the house can work with the wrapping paper. The tag is the extra personable touch, sometimes it happens sometimes it doesn’t. The tags I tend to keep neutral, hand-make, or use an ornament.
For the last couple of years, I’ve been into brown paper wrapping. It’s eco, chic & neutral. So I went with a snowflake pattern brown paper wrapping & mainly stuck to red, white & black ribbon bows. Secret: I keep the nice ribbons from gifts I receive so my stockpile is legit versatile.
I love it & for how gorgeous they turned out, there really wasn’t much extra work besides ordering the tags & paper from Amazon.
Pro tip: Buy all your gift wrapping supplies the week following Christmas.
My husband hates that I do this, but it’s a great way to get great gift wrapping at an affordable price for the following year. Gift wrapping doesn’t go out of style plus it’s one less thing on your plate for the next year.
